It Happened in January

Feature Film / Fiction

A group of actors that reflects the current Panamanian society, faces their contradictions, when they were chosen by an internationally famous director for a theater play about the events of January 9, 1964, in which 21 people died and 600 wounded at the hands of the American police in the Canal Zone. The film follows the lives of these actors and rotates in three parallel dimensions: the staging of the play, personal conflicts and a love relationship between 2 young people with contrarious visions to the events narrated in the play.
